Located in Longmont, Colorado, in beautiful Boulder County, POI Labs is deeply embedded in the geospatial and development community on the Front Range. Our staff has spent fifteen years in the media business and ten years in the geospatial industry, and we use our resources and experience to clients navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of social media, mobile technology and local economy.
He is currently a lecturer of digital journalism in the Media, Film and Journalism Studies Department at the University of Denver, and he is also serving as the faculty adviser for the student-produced newspaper, The DU Clarion.
He continually explores the changing digital landscape to learn new best practices so he can utilize the most efficient and effective tool for the task at hand. As added value, he brings to every project a unique editorial perspective, with a foundation in cartographic design, print and digital publishing, and video production.
Andrew’s project management philosophy is informed by the cartographic process, where individual layers complete a larger whole—but that is just the starting point. Building from there, he has a wealth of practical knowledge when it comes to user experience, content production, change management, and social media marketing—crucial elements that can be applied to any project.
